Not all chiropractic adjusting techniques are the same.
We know you already knew that! The adjustment technique depends on the training and experience of the individual doctor. Dr. Hancock does not believe in a “one size fits all” approach to chiropractic. He has continued to further his education in chiropractic technique since the day he gave his first chiropractic treatment.
Dr. Hancock is trained in several different types of adjusting, including:
- Low force full spine and extremity adjusting that includes the cranial bones, TMJ, shoulders, elbows, carpal tunnel, hips, knees, ankles, and the feet.
- Soft tissue adjustments (hiatal hernia, intestinal valves, dropped bladder, tipped uterus)
- SRA (Spinal Reflex Analysis)
- AK (Applied Kinesiology)
Muscle testing (AK) is an integral part of Dr. Hancock’s treatments. This simple diagnostic technique allows Dr. Hancock to determine areas of weakness and stress in the body, which are corrected with very specific and extremely gentle structural adjustments.
It is not uncommon for a patient to say, “Did you adjust me? I could hardly feel it.”
The common response shortly after experiencing this type of treatment is,
“I could barely feel the adjustment, but I definitely feel better now!”
