Needle-Free Acupuncture Therapy

Needle-Free Acupuncture Therapy

I thought acupuncture assessment and therapy was only done with needles.

What can acupuncture assessment and therapy do for me?

The primary goal of acupuncture treatment is to restore energetic imbalances that may contribute to negative health conditions.  Acupuncture meridians are energy pathways in your body that have been used therapeutically for over 5000 years. Blockage or interference in the meridian pathways can result in energy imbalance.

Dr. Hancock is a Fellow of the International Academy of Medical Acupuncture (FIAMA). He is certified in needle-free acupuncture assessment and therapy through the IAMA and the NAET organizations.

In 1951, Dr.Yoshio Nakatani MD, PhD developed a method of examining the meridian system of the body through electronic measurements. This altered the way acupuncture would be practiced throughout Japan, Europe, Australia and North America. Dr. Nakatani called this method Ryodoraku: Ryo (good), do (electro-conductive), raku (meridian). After electronically measuring the meridians, the exam results were manually calculated using a staggered numbering system for graphing. His pioneering research and development of Ryodoraku would become international within 25 years of it’s discovery.

The method of Ryodoraku was refined and renamed and the Acugraph Digital Meridian Imagingsystem was developed. Dr. Hancock offers the Acugraph method to analyze and document the energetic status of the patient’s acupuncture meridians. This painless procedure allows the patient to take home a printed copy of their graphic interpretation of the meridians checked. In addition, a copy of involved meridians may be printed, or a copy of specific points that the patient may use at home to accelerate clinical response and healing. This has proven to be another effective tool in determining a patient’s health profile and educating the patient on ways to address areas of weakness and dysfunction. The reports from patients receiving this treatment are very positive.
